Let’s do some blog updates! After every New Year’s Eve it feels like there’s a new start in life or optimism to change. I like to think of this as a great opportunity for my blog get pimped. As you might have noticed I have started with some regular posts such as “Weekly Style Notes”, “In the Mood For”, “Instagram Pairs”, outfits, buzz etc which hope you like. If you want me to add anything just shot me an email [email protected] or a comment here. I thought I do some instagram updates also since I’m so much quicker there than here.  Dior Couture Spring 14

I’m breathless. These shoes. This collection. Christian Dior’s Haute Couture Collection for Spring 14 is a masterpiece of cutworks in a dreamy wonderworld with pure lightness. However Raf Simons is balancing the cutness well because there’s definitely a sharper statement from the accessory department especially on the footwear, which ever since he took over been pretty much a new world (that blows me off). I like the idea of suspenders on the shoes which tweaks the else feminine and sweetness looking Dior collection. Something I’d like to wear to a pair denim shorts or mini skirt in the spring.

Grey denim

Grey denim, grey jersey. Grey everything. I came across this photo on my desktop today and I don’t remember when and where I found it but I’ve been keeping it (for later). Until now – I’m just feeling it – I’m in a washed out grey spring mood. I could do this exact wash on a pair of regular skinny denim jean and why not a pair of skinny knee shorts?  What designer has this grey wash at the moment? During Men’s Fashion Week La Maison Kitsuné launched their first Café Kitsuné located in the gardens of the Palais Royal. This is very much welcome! Want to grab a strong coffee and a gluten-free pastries, or just in need of a fresh cold-pressed juice? Well then this is will be your favorite hotspot. It’s very small and cute just like a hole in the wall cafe. Buzz like this makes me happy because, believe it or not, Paris only have a few really good expresso bars and needs more.

Morning sunshines! As from yesterdays blog note you know I got something from Chanel. Well it’s about time I show you my new shoes. For a long time I’ve been looking for the perfect rounded toe in satin. A really chic cocktail pump that I can dress up a pair of denim pants or the LBD. What draw my attention was definitely the heel – it’s so disco! Love it! And then not to forget the fantastic cushion sole inside. It makes them so much more comfy. So, the Chanel boutique @31 Rue Cambon is now having their sales and for me this is the ulitmate classics for any of your wardrobe updates. My first outfit on the blog for this year! It was about time, don’t you think? At the moment I’m really into black and white and yesterday I choose to go for it. Wearing a shearling jacket by Acne Studios, dress from H&M, tights from Wolford, crosbag by Mulberry for Target, suede slingbacks from Zara and my gold necklace by Oscar de la Renta.

For the evening me and Fanny joined the club for the Phillip Lim x Linda Farrow party @Silencio. Ran into Hogun he let me borrow his fabulous Saint Laurent hat.
