On my way to Café de Flore for a rendez-vous Charlotte Gainsbourg passes me on the street. And yes she really looked as effortless as you imagine her. No make-up, no fuss. If you’re like me pale as the snow and not really feel like updating your make-up nor dare buying a colorful top I’d say leave it and save your money honey. I think I spend it Gainsbourg’s latest movie Nymphomania instead.

I thought I start writing more about beauty. How’s that for an update? Normally I want my mornings run by quick and smooth but there’re actually a few things that I really like to take care of and put down some extra time on – and that’s my hair and eyes. Yes, I guess it’s like some kind of therapy. So I’m not going to lie. I like spending some extra minutes here. I’ve been really liking Prada’s backslick styling however it’s a bit “too wet” for me so I went back in the 90’s archives. And finally I found the ultimate hair styling on Madame Christy Turlington. Sleek, sun kissed hair and on top of that an au naturel make-up finish. I say this look is perfect for work in the spring time and when leaving the office just top it with Chanel red lipgloss no. 60. Simply this is a beauty perfection and then of course Turlington herself will always be the every lasting beauty bomb.

Sales are still going on and I strongly recommend you to update your wardrobe with some fine accessories. For quite a while I’ve been looking for the perfect belt – you know that you could wear both day and night time. I love minimalism with a touch of decadence. Like this big embellished earrings. Totally into that again. If you want to get something that will last this year’s trends and next ones get big earrings. Wear it to a plain white t-shirt and straight denim pants. This will make your everyday ran by smoother and everytime you see yourself in the mirror it will shine back at you. Not so bad, huh? I suggest you put your hair in a ballerina bun or a sleek (backslick) ponytail to accentuate your ears and bone structure.
