SHE’S not a typical American Apparel model, but I adore her. There’s something so powerful and graceful about older women. I really like the shift we’re seeing in the fashion world today – Jacky O’Shaughnessy for American Apparel, Iris Apfel for Mac, Jacqueline “Tajah” Murdock for Lanvin, Valerie Ramsey for Lexus…. A decade ago it was all about putting celebrities on the covers or in the ads but now it’s about unfamous beauties – that I choose to call late bloomers.
