My friend Gigi is in town from London and I couldn’t be happier. We’ve been exploring the Pigalle area. Some rosé @Le Mansart and dinner @Buvette (yes the same as in West Village). If you go get the bayonne ham, white asparagus, chocolate dessert and some more tapas – you won’t regret it!
For spring I suggest an update of your spaghetti dress from Fall 2013. Scanning the online shops I found this long silk blended v-neck dress in two-tone diagonal stripes with double cami straps from The Row. Somehow it feels freshly new and I really like that they are striping back to their basics.
Speaking of Marbella I thought I post an unpublished outfit from my stay last September. Wearing dad’s T-shirt from Bora Bora from the 70’s (now vintage?!), mirror aviator by Ray-Ban, boyfriend denim from Zara TRF and tiger ballerinas by Kenzo.

Kicking off this week with some flashback fashion ad campaigns. Digging deaper into the subject, I found it very interesting to see how the different fashion houses depicture themselves and each collection throughout the decades. The campaign often promotes the Maison’s key items, story and message, for each seasons respectively. Sometimes the picture I get from entering the stores turns out to be the complete opposite from the (off the hook) expensive ad I just saw down the boulevard. More often than not, it creates an “ick” feeling that’s not very welcoming and frankly I don’t think it is generating the wishful revenues the company was aiming for. You want the store to reflect the ad or give you an “Aha” experience when entering – not the contrary (normally). In my opinon it’s very important the campaign, company, shop and online, breath the same message. Thus, I’ve put together some past ad campaigns that’s done an excellent work according to me. Enjoy!

Ciao bellos and bellas! I’m on way to Italy for something exciting that I can’t tell you about… Sorry hate when people go like that. So instead I thought I do a Flashback Friday today. As some of you know I always had a thing for Paris and always thought I end up here (and who doesn’t?). I found myself extremely happy back in 2010 when my friends got married in the city. Here we are on a champagne cocktail inbetween the cermony and dinner @Le Saut Du Loup. I was wearing a Nanette Lepore smoking lepoard dress (what I like parties when you’re actually able to dress up), Jimmy Choo for H&M bracelet, pochette handbag by Louis Vuitton and Manolo Blahnik sequin d’orsay open-toe pumps.
