Did I ever tell you I love competing? Or at least when it comes to video games and sports… Found some old photos of me snapped by Karolina and apparently even at the Alexander Wang afterparty back in 2010 I can’t stop myself from going all in when playing the skee ball machine. I was wearing a vintage silk dress and skirt underneath with a pair of Alexander Wang pumps.
Paris Haute Couture fashion week fall 2014 is currently ongoing and speaking Giambattista Valli we’re talking about over-preforming. He is what I call true haute couture adapted to today’s reality, without losing the “haute” and rather adding the word “new” in front of it. Looking into the elements we can spot: laser-cut floral lace, garden flowers, symmetric strict stripes and checks, Lolita chick bandanas from the champage zink (think Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicilian lolita but more casual) paired with a très naturel make-up and a chorky girly attitude to the oh-so-smoking-hot-extravaganza-gowns. An eccentric woman is the major accessory. Giambattista Valli – an age of elegance and innovation.

Alright Paris is simply too dangerous speaking fashion and second markdown. After a quick pit stop at Kenzo I end up getting not only the no fish pouch I had in mind but also this sweater. Do you see the colors of the text? Well it’s yellow and blue just like the Swedish flag – me patriotic? Not at all…
Earlier this week I went and saw the movie “Under the Skin” featured by Scarlett Johansson. If your up by the canal you can apparently take a boat taxi to the cinema, which I recommend you to do. Paris in it’s best lights. I was wearing my good old leather jacket from H&M Trend, a laser-cut lace dress also from H&M, sneakers from Trois Inch and bag by Valentino.
Earlier this week Kiehl’s opened a new store in Saint Germain @Rue Sevres or as they say in French: “Inauguration de la boutique Kiehl’s”. Me, Xavière and Frederick joined. What’s better than champagne, beauty products and a hot summer night in the city? We had a blast with custome-made toiletry bags, mini-bagles and photoboothing. Enjoy your Saturday now!
