Four Paris PitstopsDuring Fashion Week there’re four safe cards:

Juice it @8 Rue la Vrillière next to Isabel Marants headoffice. If you’re inbetween shows,  buying appointments or barely have time to eat this is the quick reboost for you.

Merci @111 Boulevard Beaumarchais where you be sure to grab a healthy lunch and spot all the editors and buyers.

La Belle Epoque @36 Rue des Petits Champs is the latest add to Paris restaurant scene, where you’ll be sure to spot latest fashionistas. Strategically close to Palais Royal.

Peninsula  @19 Avenue Kléber reopened just a few weeks ago and you simply have to round off with an apéro here. Not to mention the view and work they’ve done. Damn I’m speechless.

Out of all fashion shows and weeks so far there’s one that’s really stood out to me. Jeremy Scott picked up where the last Moschino collection McDonald’s-red-and-yellow celebration of junk food, left off; Last week’s show was a procession of the eighties excess that’s perhaps most synonymous with its plastic poster girl, an era in which, for some inner circles, looking “fake” was a compliment. They were all there from Let’s Get Physical Barbie, Business Lunch Barbie, Fly Girl Barbie, Poolside Barbie to Bikinied Barbie on roller skates. Being a complete Barbie addict as a kid – blaming my dad for spoiling me with a new Barbie every month from his traveling to USA – no wonder I’m still caught in this fantasy world. Plastic fantastic Baribe and monogrammed logos just feel so right again.  After all, Barbie was always the girl having the most fun.

I’ve been searching for the perfect one for a while and this week I came across this lovely piece called “Henrietta”. I specifically like the cream color for the earlier fall days us coming. It’s from the French Maison Michel and it’s simply perfect to any day or night looks. Well, it’s Friday so let’s celebrate with this tune.

Soirée Hedi Slimane : SONICOn Tuesday we were invited to the preview of the photo exhibition entitled “SONIC” by Hedi Slimane at the Foundation Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent. It’s the first time his 15 years of black and white musical archives are exhibited, including portrayals of heroic rock figures from Lou Reed to Brian Wilson and a video installation from musical cycles in London (2003-2007) and California (2007-2014) that depicts an alternative portrait of two generations of performers and their fans. There were also live music enjoy and Mr Slimane himself there.

I truly recommend this expo that goes live today, 18th September until the 11th January 2015. What’s there to wait for?

SONIC by Hedi Slimane exhibition

Yesterday it was time for Vogue Fashion Night Out on the streets of Paris and then a preview of the photo exhibition “SONIC” by Hedi Slimane at Fondation Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent. It was a full evening that I promise to write more about later when I get the time. Until then, this is what I wore dad’s vintage blazer by GIANNI VERSACE (circa 1969), silk dress from ZARA, vintage belt from mom (circa 70’s), monogrammed wallet from SAINT LAURENT and sandals by MANOLO BLAHNIK.

SANDRA MICHELLE JENNY & MATILDA’S 30TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

our 30th birthday party.
Last weekend back in Stockholm it was time for Sandra, Michelle, Jenny and Mathilda’s big 30. Together at HTL hotel backyard they had arranged an amazing venue to a striking beautiful day. Imagine pink decorations, sunshine, 25 degrees, never-ending champagne, new DJ:s every hour, dance, cake and over 100 happy people. Do I need to say more?
