fondation louis vuitton
From my weekend at Fondation Louis Vuitton I thought I share some snapshots from my iPhone. Finally entering the building and soon done the petit tour, I most say I found the architecture, the terrace, gallery 5 with Bertrand Lavier neon art among others, the Olafur Eliasson giant kaleidoscope that consists of forty-three prism-shaped columns and the restaurant Le Frank the most interesting. For me was more the full experience of Frank Gehry’s expression of art in the Bois de Boulogne that struck me than inside exhibitors. Frankly I most say I wish it would have been more fashion oriented collections.

MONDAY INSPIRATION

Inspiration

monday inspiration

Photographer Kenneth Willardt first publication, The Beauty Book, is just not your standard coffee table with a weighty tome of inspiration. Instead he’s enhancing the visual experience via a new “augmented reality” app that partners with a 340-page story of models and celebrities from the past 15 years. When you hover over images with your phone, elements of the picture come to life. My two favorites are these above: Doutzen Kroes’ juicy red lips – that start singing and the stars on Olga Serova’s nipples – that start spinning. Since the iPhone has become an integral part of our everyday life (and extension of many people’s hands), the Willardt believes engaging an audience through technology is the “way forward in communicating art and extending the story.”

FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON

OutfitsParis

Paris November 2014This weekend I finally had the time to go and check out the Fondation Louis Vuitton. If you’re in Paris this an architecture masterpiece that has to be explored. I was wearing a T-shirt from COS, tweek jacket from HARRIS TWEED, cashmere sweater and flared jeans from ZARA, my first pochette from LOUIS VUITTON and ankle bootis by ALEXANDER WANG.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

Paris

Farsdag Right next to my bed, I have this silly photo of dad and me from our family summers in Italy, back in the 80’s. Today I’m sending all my love to dad and I’m forever grateful of everything he’s given me – his sense of humour, numbers’ brain, taste for music and shoes, and last but not least for all the tough times he’s been by my side.  I wish I was in Stockholm today so I could hugh my dad. If you can, give yours a big hugh! Dads are simply too good to be true.

HAPPY FRIDAY

Music, Outfits, ParisPFW

Paris Fashion Week SS15I’m currently living in my navy embellished wool cardigan from SANDRO.  It keeps me warm and goes perfect to a pair of denim and a white T-shirt or even, like here, with a dress for a more casual look. Well, it’s that day of the week again so let’s listen to some Friday tune.

LOUIS VUITTON SAINT GERMAIN DES PRÉS

FashionParis

Louis Vuitton Speaking of Rive Gauche, it was the latest LOUIS VUITTON shop that I popped by after my lunch break yesterday. I love checking out new shops simply because of its interior but this time it was also to have a look at the monogrammed collection collaboration. However, it was none of them that really caught my attention – instead I fell particularly for these inka twisted shoes that didn’t walk down the runway last spring.

Cafe de Flore

When at Rive Gauche I always to stop by Café de Flore for a French omelette and a thé sur le Nil. This time I also passed the new shop right next to it. Do you know which I’m talking about? More on the blog tomorrow!
