Saturday was spent shopping and culturally engaging. Then a quick stop at the Pinacothèque to see Karl Lagerfeld’s photography exhibition, lighten up my weekend. A journey through his life and as he so nicely puts it:
“J’ai le bonheur de pouvoir consacrer ma vie à ce qui m’intéresse le plus : la photographie, la mode et les livres, et ce dans les meilleurs et plus parfaites conditions. Je suis très chanceux.”

The latest talk of the town must be the eccentric Gucci SS16 campaign. I believe no one could have missed the most flamboyant glamorous ad of the year, right? With their new creative director Alessandro Michele aboard nothing seems impossible, and that’s refreshing! The eclectic soul and taste of a true Italian luxourious fashion house is perfectly portrayed through the streets, underground and roofs of Berlin, by the hands of Glen Luchford.
I hope you had a fantastic weekend! My was a mix of catch-up with friends and trying to get on to my New Year’s resolutions, which is starting to do yoga again at least once a week. Then I was also planning on going on a vacation in March somewhere warm – thinking Cuba, the Dominican Republic and around there. Any suggestions where to stay or go? BIG thank you and have a great week now!

Follow Louis Vuitton’s journey from 1854 until today at the Grand Palais’ exhibition Volez, Voguez, Voyagez – Louis Vuitton. From the first trunk, bag, logo until today’s iconic fashion house. A fenomenal work under the direction of Olivier Saillard and the scenographine as well as creative direction by Robert Carsen.
Say hello to my new Hermès micro Kelly bracelet in black leather. My sweet boyfriend gave it to me for Christmas and I absolutely adore it. What makes it so great for me is that it’s “petite” and works to my casual outfit.

To celebrate the new year, Olivia and Emmanuel hosted an awesome spontaneous dinner party in their lovely new apartment over at the 17th arrondissement. We ate, we drank, we danced and we laughed, do I need to say more? I hope you had a fantastic NYE too and that you’re not too worried about not keeping your new year’s resolutions (mine to come here soon at the blog). Now some snapshots from the beginning of our evening before we continued the night out at Silencio…
