Coming to Marrakech is like entering another world, a magic one. A colorful dream that meets all your expectations, on all levels. If you speak French you’re already considered as “one of them”, which I’m happy to say today that I do and since there’s negotiations everywhere – taxi, market, food, massage… it definitely helps you to get around. Normally, I’d say this is my job so therefore I love it (negotiating buying/selling prices). But when it’s all the time, it’s really nice to have someone with you, then you can take every other day for example.
First day out we did so much I thought I fall asleep on the street. If I remember correctly, we visited the Jemaa El Fna souk, Madrasa Ben Youssef, Jardin Majorelle and Yves Saint Laurent Maison, Jardins de la Palmeraie, Maison de la Photographie where we had a tajine lunch just next to the museum, later sweets at Amandine Patisserie and Moroccan wine at Le Café de la Poste, then dinner at Jack is Back and cocktails at Djallabar. Here’s some cripsy photos for you to enjoy!
