PLACE NATHALIE

IMG_2160

In the seven wonders of Le Marais streets there’s my place where, if you go, you will hopefully find it as exceptionally beautiful as me with its leafy ally. Nathalie Lemel was a militant feminist in the 1870’s, which must have been quite ahead and challenging for its time, considering she lived in France… I guess you can read between the lines here… Here’s a Friday night and I’m wearing a midnight blue velvet dress with a grey melange sweater with open-toe sandals in grained leather  and my padded clutch.

LE MARAIS

Today I wondered the streets of Le Marais and bought an elephant on the street to decorate my livingroom.

SLEEP IN

Paris May 2015When there’s the weekend and you sleep in I like to pamper myself and my other half with a brunch at Café Charlot. Why not add a glass of rosé into the mix? Alors, what does your luxe breakfast look like?

HAPPY MONDAY

Paris April 2015
I love waking up early in the morning and have an extra hour just to read magazines. These two are the best in a very long time, especially “life lessons” by Mariel Hemingway for PORTER and then the adorable suede reportages. I’m curious to hear what’s your favorite morning routines?

BEAUCOUP

Paris April 2015

Last weekend it was time for my boyfriend’s nephew’s first birthday. When you’re with your French family finding a spacious restaurant that meet a French food snob standards is not always the easiest, especially not on a Sunday. Luckily we did find a table available at Beaucoup and enjoyed an amazing buffet brunch in Le Marais.

PETIT-DÉJEUNER

Paris April 2015The best way to start your morning in Paris? I would say ordering a breakfast menu for two at Kooka Boora.

RUE CHAPPE

Paris April 2015

Hello from the streets of Montmartre! Sun was blasting this weekend and on Sunday we couldn’t keep the jackets on. Spring is much welcomed and can you imagine the best is yet to come…

THE BEAST

Paris April 2015
At 27 rue Meslay (use to be the shoe street of Paris) you will find The Beast – a fusion of Kentucky bourbon and traditional Texas BBQ ruled by Thomas Abramowicz. If you craving pulled pork, ribbs or super tender meat this is the spot for you. Imagine 8 days smoked meat and delicate whiskey served to it, or why not try some sauteed kale. This is a weekend must.

OXFORD SHOES

Paris April 2015

Say hello to my new spring shoes I got yesterday. A very spontaneous purchase and perfect to run around in during the day as well as dancing in. They’re so no brand they’re straight from a small factory in Portugal.
