Monday-hey! I hope you had lovely weekend and also enjoyed some heat! Getting into the spring/summer mood I thought I share my favorite fashion week outfits from last year in Paris and Stockholm. From top left and down:
CÉLINE cateye sunglasses, OSCAR DE LA RENTA dress outside the Barbara Bui show.
CASTELBAJAC shirt, RAY-BAN folding sunglasses outside the Elie Saab show.
SAINT LAURENT monogrammed bag, KENZO camera bag outside the Whyred show.
PRADA pumps, GIVENCHY bag outside the closing show at Stockholm Fashion Week.
MANOLO BLAHNIK kitten heels, ODLR dress, VALENTINO bag on my way to Kenzo’s showroom.
A block from my apartment in Paris fashion house CÉLINE choose a new location from Rue du Pont Neuf to Rue Vivienne close by houses such as KENZO and ISABEL MARANT. If there’s anything that gets you going and motivates you throughout the day it’s your work space and surrounding. Fresh flowers are also a peaceful touch to your mind. Entering the new Headquarter of the fashion brand helmed by behind the creative director Phoebe Philo and CEO Marco Gobbetti makes me smile. This is pure harmony to my eyes and a massive upgrade from their last office. – Bravo!
Brunch with my favorite person Katarina at my favorite lunch place Le Moulin de la Viergein Paris is never a bad idea. Nothing makes me happier than laughing and borrowing her new sunnies from & OTHER STORIES.
A sunny Paris and a stroll in Jardin des Tuileries, suddenly I enter a magic forest made out of cardboard cutouts trees. The settings for ELIE SAAB‘s fall show was like another world and once Karlie Kloss opened the runway the silence went immediate. Enchated by Saab’s flawless leafy chiffon, leafy embroidered macro lace, leafy flowing fox fur and leafy appliqué leather — yeah you get the deal. Among pants cut high, skirts full, hair out and effortless French chicness, this makes me want to wear only a leather jacket with a gown on any regular day, just as in the fairy tales.
Sunday was pretty SUPER in several ways. ELIE SAAB show, +18C and this amazing new sweater from & OTHER STORIES that I paired with my mirror sunglasses from SPEKTRE, snake printed bag by MARC JACOBS, slot culottes from ZARA and suede stilettos GIANVITO ROSSI – that I still can’t walk in due to my back accident. Thank God my boyfriend acted driver and PA.
Earlier this weekend, somewhere around 10-ish, the sun was blasting and street style photographers were in common order perpetuating their fashionistas’ catwalks to the catwalk. Meanwhile backstage, Tuomas Merikoski with others’ latest brand AALTO were about to walk down the podium. A rare and refreshing sight in Paris’ else so hardcore haute gamme fashionscene. Tuomas, who is also the creative senior designer for LOUIS VUITTONMen, showed the Modettes what Scandinavians do best – to capture a strong fashion aesthetic that connects fashion, design and art into one place. What can I say more than I’m a proud Scandie that can’t wait to get my hands on the beige terry towelling dress.
My new favorite court sneakers from LACOSTE L!VE (can only wear flats after the accident), wallet bag SAINT LAURENT, click bangle HERMES, ring CHLOE and coordinate bangle MERIDIAN and necklace JENNIFER ZEUNER.
Finally I’m taking my first real steps, yet with pain, however it somehow feels amazing. Talk about missing the fresh air, ticklish sun and frisky wind. This morning my friends thought it be a good idea to come and meet some people and join fashion week (five days in). My boyfriend and I managed get over to the quay next to Pont des Invalides pretty smoothly and once there we saw the new brand AALTO‘s fashion show.
I’m wearing a dress faux leather from ZARA, wallet bag from SAINT LAURENT, bow bag from VALENTINO RED, tights from WOLFORD and court sneakers from LACOSTE L! VE.
