ISLINGTON

LondonLondon Guide

London March 2013

Cherry blossom in the air, tickling sunshine and people smiling. All spring signs, and more than you could ask for, are here – hopefully to stay. My back is slowly getting better and this weekend we took a stroll in my neighborhood Islington. I love this part of London, simply because it’s seconds from the Regent’s Canal, the city and Eurostar, but also because of its endless choice of cute shops and cafés. Not to forget, there’s the picturesque Camden Passage – a treasure find of vintage and antique boutiques. Further west, you’ll find leafy Barnsbury with its white beautiful houses and go-to gastro pubs – perfect for brunch, dinner or apéro. This is also where former British Prime Minister Tony Blair use be a local.
