GOOD NIGHT

New York

New York nostalgia

Time for “dodo” as they say in French! I don’t know why I’m so tired but I believe it’s because I’m back at work meanwhile recovering from my back accident – and as you know I can never sit still (!!). When I came home tonight my laptop had suddenly decided to have no more space – so I quickly had to back it up and then drag each photo albums to a separate share drive. Maybe not the sexiest thing to do on a Tuesday evening, but I do love glancing through my old photos from time to time and this time I came across my old home on West 4th and MacDougal Street. Talk about getting nostalgic. Back in 2010, I had my windows on facing Uptown and each night I would slowly saying good night to the Empire State and the city. I remember never getting bored of it, ever. New York and all that came with it is probably the best thing that ever happen to me and is something I will never forget. Funny though, when looking at the photo today, exactly five years later, I can see that I had a LACOSTE table book in the window that was given to me at their first runway ever at NYFW, and today this is where I’m working. It’s a small world, isn’t it?
